TV 18 consolidated net at Rs 125 mn for Mar`08 qtr


Television Eighteen India reported consolidated earnings of Rs 124.86
million on total income of Rs 1,478.62 million for the fourth-quarter
ended March 2008.

The company, on standalone basis, registered 25.51% growth in net
profits to Rs 189.52 million for the quarter ended March 2008 as
against Rs 151 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

Net sales for the quarter rose 75.08% to Rs 1,118.04 million for the
quarter ended March 2008 from Rs 638.60 million for the quarter ended
March 2007.

The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at quarter Rs 1.62
for the quarter ended March 2008.

Annual Result

Television Eighteen India recorded consolidated net profit of Rs
255.21 million on total income of Rs 4,373.82 million for the year
ended March 2008.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 416.85 million for the year
ended Mar. 31, 2008 as compared with Rs 175.11 million for the year
ended Mar. 31, 2007, representing a growth of 2.38 times.

Net sales soared 68.38% to Rs 3,265.94 million compared with Rs
1,939.55 million for the year ended March 2007.
